Workshop “Communicating with Impact and Embracing the Early Career Potential in IAAP”

We are pleased to invite you to this free one-of-a-kind workshop led by Division 15 Board members.
The workshop brings together two connected areas of discussion.
- The first focuses on developing professional communication competencies through applied exercises that help participants explore effective ways of presenting applied psychology research to different stakeholders.
- The second centres on increasing early career engagement in IAAP by supporting networking and relationship-building while co‑creating an action plan aligned with IAAP’s Strategic Goal 2 to broaden the number and diversity of engaged members. During the workshop you can raise your voice regarding your needs , vision and future projects that you would like to be involved in in IAAP and we will also explore how to strength the aspects of the onboarding IAAP process, interdivisional collaboration, and mentoring initiatives across Additionally, you will learn more about the early career taskforce our ongoing projects and resources to support students and emerging professionals, contributing to wider IAAP efforts to strengthen accessibility, engagement, and participation across divisions.
The workshop will be facilitated by Division 15 Board members
- Marija Davcheva: President of Division 15 with expertise in organisational psychology and applied research communication
- Jennifer Namutebi: Division Vice-President and Ambassador working across applied psychology and international capacity building
- Kerry Fisher: Division Vice-President, taskforce member, and incoming Division 10 President-Elect contributing to early career perspectives and applied psychology communication work
- Gabriel Medianero Arauz: Division 15 Ambassador and incoming Division 15 President supporting membership development and applied psychology outreach
- Jaime Martín Fernández: Division 15 Ambassador and lead on the taskforce project, contributing to early career engagement and supporting interdivisional collaboration.
Together, the workshop and the ongoing taskforce activity form part of Division 15’s broader contribution to strengthening early career development within IAAP.
